Mitch Lucker, the tattooed frontman for the American metal band Suicide Silence, died after being involved in a motorcycle crash in California on Wednesday evening.
The motorcycle accident that claimed the young singer occurred only hours after Lucker reportedly tweeted a photo of himself on this Twitter account (@MitchLuckerSS) in his Halloween costume with the message, "The dead are living..."
Memorial messages for Lucker appeared on various websites and RIP Mitch Lucker was trending on Twitter almost immediately after the news broke. Fans also reportedly held a vigil for the vocalist at the crash site Thursday night.
Lucker had been the frontman for Suicide Silence since the band began in 2002. He is survived by his young daughter Kenadee.
